Hors Studio

I had the pleasure of spending a morning at Hors Studio, a studio renowned for its research into innovative and responsible materials. Alongside Rebecca Fézard, Élodie Michaud and Antoine, I discovered a calm place, where gestures are measured and materials, often from scraps - leather, shells, byssus - are carefully transformed into sensitive surfaces.

Among their creations, Leatherstone©, the fruit of five years' research, gives rise to a surprisingly soft, mineral material, shaped by hand using various processes: sheathing, compression, molding or 3D printing. Nothing is set in stone here; everything is exploration, attention and reinvention.
